 Shamu was sitting in his verandah as if he had got a lottery. Both Baghia and Heera were fighting for a cot as if two candidates for one seat in an election. There was a lot of happiness in the house that day. Like a bride has just stepped foot, or a newborn in someone's house, or a very old obstinate guest saying goodbye to the house.
