 What are you looking at?" In those days I am talking about the year 1966. Then colleges were not in place like today. My father was in the railways and he used to get transferred. That's why my education was done in pieces. Jamnagar, After Rajkot, Bandikui, Achhnera and Beawar, I passed the Higher Secondary examination from Abu Road. Then my father was the Inspector in Abu Road. There were colleges in Falna and Sirohi near Abu Road and then in Jodhpur. I took admission in Jodhpur University. Had to leave home for the first time. Dad had sent a constable Shyam Singh with me. He got me admission and got a room on rent in Murlidhar Joshi Bhawan on High Court Road. Same photo below There was a studio of a grapher and a magazine used to come out from the second floor. The name is not known now. There were many rooms on the third floor. In which the students used to live. Few names are remembered. Aslam of Makrana and Shiv Chand Joshi and Ramprakash of Nagaur were. The rest. Can't remember the name
