 In the late seventies, Naveen Nischal, Sanjay Khan, Jitendra, Shashikpur etc were becoming very popular and successful. The very first films of many new heroes proved to be a blast. But in this decade, among the heroes whose kites were reaching the sky, Dharmendra, Rajesh Khanna and Amitabh Bachchan raised their wings on the fort of acting and success. Dharmendra had arrived long back. In this decade, he has given popular films like Phool Aur Patthar with Meena Kumari, Devar with Sharmila Tagore and Aai Milan Ki Bela with Sairabano.
